As a Divemaster you will be working along side out team and although you will have Dave our PADI Staff Instructor as you mentor the whole team are there to support you during your journey.

What’s involved?

During the course supported by our instructors you will :-

Undertake the PADI Divemaster e-Learning.
Attend several classroom sessions covering Course Orientation, Divemaster Roll model conduct, Supervising certified and student divers.
Design an emergency assistance plan
Map a dive site.
Demonstrate the 24 main diving skills to a high standard.
Perform a rescue scenario.
Perform a fitness and stamina test.
Perform 5 practical skills including Deep Dive setup and and Dive site setup.
Pass a theory test

You must be over 18 (Jr Divemaster is available to those between 16 & 18)
40 Logged Dives
EFR (First Aid) certificate during the preceding 24 months
PADI Rescue Diver certification.
Medical
Signed medical from your doctor (this allows for procession of you application and allows you to work as a Divemaster outside the UK, subject to local law).
If you intend to work as a Divemaster in the UK you will need an HSE medical before you can commence work.

Not Included:-

Skill development pool time (pool time when working with a course is included in the course 1 on 1 time with the instructor working on your skills will be charged at cost price of £37.50).
Equipment rental (by the time you start your professional career it is expected that you will have good quality personal diving equipment. We are happy to supply equipment at cost to our Divemaster interns).
Entry to dive sites.
Air fills beyond the initial fill.
Transport to and from the dive sites.
PADI membership fees on completion of the course.
