OPEN WATER PART 2 - Swimming Pool Dives.

The PADI Open Water course has always been modular in that it is divided into the 3 distinct sections shown below.

eLearning – This is undertaken at home and at your own pace (10hrs approx.), the only restrictions are that you must have finished section 1 before your first pool dive, section 3 before your first qualifying dive and all sections (including optional sections) before your last qualifying dive.
Pool Dives (Confined Water) – During the 5 mini dives in our heated pool your instructor will work with you to develop the skills you will need to become a safe and confident diver.
Qualifying Dives (Open Water) – Over two days you will asked to undertake 4 dives where you will simply demonstrate the skills you have already mastered during the pool dives.

We understand that modern life is busy and fitting into a rigid training program can sometimes be challenging to say the least, that’s why we sell our Open Water course in three parts: -

Part 1 – e-Learning.

Part 2 - Swimming pool sessions.

Part 2 – Qualifying Dives.

This way its easier to budget (you are paying for the course in two or three parts) and easier to find a slot in the diary that fits for you.

Of course, if you wanted to buy the whole course in one go that’s not going to be an issue, in fact we will give you a discount of £25 for doing so and you can still choose when you get to do your qualifying dives.

Not totally sure if diving is for you that’s not a problem at all why not enrol in one of our Discover Scuba Diving experiences, where we will introduce you to the equipment you will be using and some of the basic skills without committing to the full course.

Unlike some of our competitors who hide additional costs in the small print we believe in being upfront and honest with our pricing so that you know the prices from the outset with no shocks along the line.

What’s Not Included.

Mask & Snorkel, if you have your own that’s great (as long as the mask is tempered glass and the snorkel does not have any kind of restrictor), if not then we can provide a basic set at a 50% discount or a premium set (any mask from our range) at 30% off

Qualifying Dives – you can either book these with us in the UK or Cyprus or undertake them with any PADI dive centre worldwide.

Remember to fully qualify you will have to complete both Part 1 and Part 2 of the Open Water courses, during the purchase of this course you will be offered the opportunity to purchase Part 2 at a £25 discount.
