We believe the name of this course is misleading in fact the aim of this course isn’t to make you an Advanced Diver but to make you an experienced diver.
During your Open Water course you had loads of skills to learn all at once and probably didn’t get the time to focus on just one skill.
The Advanced Open Water Course is five dives spread out over 2 days where we concentrate on a single skill per dive, what’s more each dive can be credited towards the specialty course of the same name.
We dont normally schedule Jr courses sepratly from our normal courses, so dont worry if you cant see the course you are looking for it is lightly that we will just book your child onto the next Advanced Open Water course (subject to ratios). Not Included.
· Equipment Rental - By the time you start to undertake Specialty Courses we anticipate that you will have at least some of your own equipment. If you require equipment rental this can be arranged at a 50% discount for students.
· Dive Site Entries – normally around £25 per day, see note below.
· Transport to and from the dive site and overnight accommodation if required
· Boat Fees – As this course could be conducted anywhere and boat fees vary, we have not included them in this course
Course prerequisites: PADI Open Water Diver, Junior Open Water Diver, or qualifying entry-level certification.
The minimum age to start the Advanced Open Water Diver course is 12.
Divers certified as Junior Divers automatically become Advanced Open Water Divers at age 15. Any replacement certification card or eCard purchased the day after the diver's 15th birthday will automatically show an Advanced Open Water Diver (not Jr. Advanced Open Water Diver) certification.
