Gliding with the currents, watching the big pelagic fish move seemingly effortlessly up current, feeling the rush of flying underwater, is what drift diving is all about.
During your PADI Drift Diver course, you'll go on 2 open water scuba dives (normally from a boat during a single day).
Topics covered include:
· The planning, organisation, problems and hazards of drift diving;
· Special equipment - floats, lines, reels;
· Proper procedures for buoyancy-control, navigation and communication;
· Site selection and an overview of aquatic currents causes and effects;
· Techniques for staying close to a buddy or together as a group.

Not Included.
· Equipment Rental - By the time you start to undertake Specialty Courses we anticipate that you will have at least some of your own equipment. If you require equipment rental this can be arranged at a 50% discount for students.
· Dive Site Entries – normally around £25 per day, see note below.
· Transport to and from the dive site and overnight accommodation if required
· Boat Fees – As this course could be conducted anywhere and boat fees vary, we have not included them in this course
