Reliable Piston First Stage
The PX100 uses a simple piston first stage designed to provide dependable gas delivery with straightforward servicing and maintenance. Its compact construction makes it suitable for recreational diving at home or overseas.
The first stage provides:
- One high-pressure port for a pressure gauge or transmitter
- Four low-pressure ports for second stages and inflation hoses
- A choice of 230-bar DIN or 230-bar INT connection
- A robust, uncomplicated design suited to regular use
The four low-pressure ports allow connection of the primary regulator, octopus, BCD inflator and a drysuit inflator where required.
Simple and Functional Second Stage
The PX100 second stage features a large diaphragm designed to provide smooth and natural breathing throughout the dive. Its uncomplicated design makes it easy to use and particularly suitable for newer divers or busy training environments.
A clearly positioned Dive/Pre-Dive Venturi control allows the diver to manage airflow through the second stage. The Pre-Dive setting helps reduce unwanted free flow at the surface or when entering the water, while the Dive setting supports comfortable airflow once submerged.
Matching PX OCTO Alternate Air Source
The included SEAC PX OCTO provides a clearly identifiable alternate air source for recreational buddy diving. Its high-visibility yellow design makes it easy to locate during an air-sharing situation.
The octopus uses the same straightforward operating principles as the primary second stage, providing consistent and familiar operation when it is needed.
Durable Braided Hoses
The primary and alternate second stages are supplied with flexible, braided low-pressure hoses. The protective braided coating helps resist abrasion and provides comfortable hose routing around the diver’s body.
Cold-Water Approved
The SEAC PX100 complies with the applicable CE EN 250:2014 standard and is approved for use in water temperatures below 10°C. This makes it suitable for UK recreational diving as well as warmer overseas conditions.
As with all cold-water regulator systems, correct servicing, configuration and diving procedures remain essential when operating in low temperatures.
