Beaver Atomic Frameless Scuba Diving Mask – Clear Silicone

Exceptional Visibility, Comfortable Fit and Low-Volume Design

The Beaver Atomic Frameless Scuba Diving Mask combines a compact, low-volume design with a soft clear silicone skirt and wide field of vision. Designed for comfort and practicality, it is an excellent choice for recreational scuba diving, snorkelling and underwater exploration.

Its frameless construction positions the tempered glass lens closer to your eyes, providing an exceptionally wide underwater view while reducing the internal air volume. Whether you're learning to dive or looking for a reliable everyday mask, the Beaver Atomic offers an excellent combination of comfort, visibility and simplicity.

Why Choose the Beaver Atomic Frameless Dive Mask?

Exceptional 170° Field of Vision

One of the standout features of the Beaver Atomic is its exceptionally wide field of vision. Beaver Sports specifies a viewing angle of approximately 170°, compared with around 70° for a conventional mask.

The close-fitting lens and frameless construction help maximise your underwater visibility, allowing you to enjoy more of your surroundings.

Low-Volume Frameless Design

The compact frameless construction reduces the amount of air inside the mask, making it easier to clear if water enters.

This is particularly beneficial for beginners developing essential mask-clearing skills during their PADI Open Water Diver training, while experienced divers will appreciate its streamlined profile.

Comfortable Clear Silicone Skirt

The soft, flexible clear silicone skirt is designed to create a comfortable seal against the face.

Unlike black silicone masks, the transparent skirt allows additional ambient light to enter around the edges, creating a brighter, more open feeling underwater.

This can be particularly appealing to newer divers who prefer a less enclosed feeling when wearing a mask.

Tempered Glass Lens

The Beaver Atomic features a durable tempered glass lens, providing clear underwater vision and the strength required for recreational scuba diving.

Compact and Travel Friendly

The lightweight, low-profile construction makes the Atomic a practical choice for travelling divers.

Its compact design also makes it suitable for carrying as a backup mask when paired with an appropriate protective pouch.

Clear or Black Silicone – Which Should You Choose?

The Beaver Atomic Frameless Mask is available with either a clear or black silicone skirt.

Clear silicone allows additional light to enter around the edges of the mask, creating a brighter and more open feeling. This can be particularly appealing to beginners and recreational divers.

Black silicone helps reduce peripheral light and reflections, which some divers prefer when concentrating on underwater photography or observing marine life.

Both versions offer the same fundamental frameless design and low-volume construction. Choosing between them is largely a matter of personal preference.

Choosing the Right Diving Mask

A comfortable, correctly fitted mask is essential for an enjoyable diving experience.

Even a high-quality mask can allow water to enter if it does not suit your facial shape. We recommend checking that the silicone skirt creates a comfortable seal without excessive strap tension.
