The Brigitta otherwise known as the Teapot sank on the 4th December 1917 when mine, 2 lives were lost.
She sits on a sandy bottom 5 nautical miles east of the Nab Tower off the Isle of White.
 
She sits on a sandy bottom in about 18m of water.

The Brigitta, is called the Teapot after a Teapot recovered by Selsey Bill Sub Aqua club.

She was an armed merchant vessel en route from Barry to Dieppe.

She lies in three parts (upside down stern, boilers, and midships/bow) at a depth of 20 meters and has a very distinctive
