Discover Scuba Diving
The Discover Scuba Diving Experience is the starting point for anybody wanting to try scuba diving or anybody looking to take a scuba diving qualification.
Although we have a regular twice monthly swimming pool session scheduled at our pool in Havant, we also have access to a private pool in Selsey for small groups, so If you cant see a date below that suits you please call the office on 01243 202200 to discuss a more suitable date / time (small additional fee may apply) .

Have you always wondered what it's like to breathe underwater? This is what you need to find out.........
If you want something that's really fun or aren't quite sure if you are ready for the full PADI Open Water Scuba Diving course yet then this is the course for you.
In the safety of our heated swimming pool you will give scuba diving a try in a well supported and organised group under the direct supervision of one of our experienced PADI Pro's.
Before attending you will undertake the on-line e-learning section of this experience in the comfort of your own home and at your own speed,
Once you get to the pool your PADI professional will introduce you to the equipment you will be useing and talk to you about what you will be doing in the water, then we will get you kitted up so that you can enjoy the wonders of the underwater world.
Prerequisites.
- 10 years of age.
- Completed medical statement.
- Comfortable in the water, but they don’t have to be a super swimmers.
- Parental approval required if aged under 18 years of age..
- Must have compleated the PADI e-Learning (free link provided after booking).

Whilst this is not a scuba diving certification in itself, it is a perfect introduction to scuba diving and can be credited towards the PADI Open Water Scuba Diver course.
Should you wish to continue and do the full PADI Open Water Scuba Diving Course following this experience we will credit the cost of this experience against Part 1 of the Open Water Course leaving just £145 to pay instead of £200 for this section (sections 2 and 3 are required to become a qualified diver).
