PADI® Open Water Diver is the first scuba certification level and is the most recognised diving qualifcation worldwide.

During the course one of our highly-trained PADI Instructor will teach you how to scuba dive in a relaxed, well supported learning environment.

By the end of the course, you'll have the skills and knowledge to dive at home or abroad and be an ambassador for the underwater world.

The course is split into three parts:-

On-line e-Learning - You undertake this in the comfort of your own home at a pace that works for you.
Pool Dives - There are 5 pool dives where we teach you all the skills you need to become a diver.
Open Water Dives - 4 dives over 2 days where you simply demonstrate the skills you have already mastered during the pool dives.

Did you know the PADI Open Water Course is totally transportable to and PADI dive centre worldwide so you can complete some in the UK and finish the rest in the sun whilst on holiday. Course prerequisites are:

Before the course you will be asked some medical screening questions, dont worrry even if you are flagged as needing to see a doctor it is normally just a case of checking its very rare sombody is stopped from diving.
Basic level of fitness.
Float or tread water without aids for 10 minutes
Swim 200 metres/yards with no aids or 300 metres/yards with mask, fins and snorkel - any stroke and no time restriction (if you need a rest just float in the deep end and resume the swim when ready.
Minimum age: 10 - (Divers certified between the ages of 10-14 earn a Junior Diver certification)

Junior Open Water Divers automatically become Open Water Divers at age 15. Any replacement certification card or eCard purchased the day after the diver's 15th birthday will automatically show an Open Water Diver (not Jr. Open Water Diver) certification.

With this course you can either:

· Pay in full at time of booking.

· Pay in 3 easy payments

1. £200 non-returnable deposit at time of booking, this secures your place on the course and releases the PADI e-Learning so that you can get started on the theory section of the course.

2. £180 3 days before the first Pool Dive.

3. Balance payment 3 days before the Open Water Dives.
